Over the last weekend (7-Feb), many of us had great fun together with the kids. Thanks to join us to pay the visit.
Together, we come to very end of this 2015 charity. We
completed the last part of the 2015 charity by transforming the center from a
house to a better home. Please find the attached good photos which show the
differences that we can make for this center. In this short email, we are not
able to reach and thanks to all the donors , kindly please help to extent the
special thanks to all them. We created a short video also to dedicate to
everyone who have relentlessly, unconditionally support the activity.
Video is shared in youtube as link below. Thank you for your great supports every year. http://youtu.be/V77qu1TGsL0
[11-Jan-2015] We
are planning to visit “ Pusat Jagaan Kanak-Kanak Istimewa Lagenda (PJKKIL)” on 7th
Feb (Sat). We have pre-visited PJKKIL on
10-Jan in order to know more about their condition and environment. This is a
new shelter, we can see a lot of improvement needed. The shelter is located at
Klang. PJKKIL is a home for orphans and underprivileged children,
single mothers, old folk and disabled , total 30 peoples. This PJKKIL is
very similar to the home that we visited last year, but much small size and
poorer. It is very difficult for me to
find words to describe this center, so I use the word “simple “ .
The is the “simplest ” shelter that we have ever visited so far. Their living hall has nothing but an old broken TV and 4 walls. The living area is crowded with “simple” kids with no toys but full of happiness showing on the face. A disabled boy was sitting on a “simple” wheelchair that has not moving wheel to “move” around. Find below picture, this is the “simple “ living area for them to play the games and sleep at night.
We
managed to speak to the “simple” owner who are not able to provide
a wish list . The center has not been ask by everyone so far which regarding
their need. People are just drop by to donate food, but they are not many of
them and rarely . As what we can see, the center has only the basic necessities
of food, and nothing else.
Before we leave, I did ask these “simple “ kids for a “simple” question, “What can uncle/ Aunty do, to make you all happy on 7 Feb?” . Well, below are their simple wishes that make my tears drop.
-
Seafood
(fish, squid)
- A&W and coca cola
- ice-cream
- cakes
- School bags
On behalf of everyone, we promise and confirm to the center that we will visit on 7 Feb, with Seafood lunch appointment with the kids.
[25-Dec-2014] December is the month when many of us celebrate with friends, family and loved ones. And as this year’s holiday season approaches, I want to take this opportunity to celebrate our achievements and thank everyone.
