2011 - Handicapped & Disabled Children's Association

Special thanks to my all dearest friends, Prior to the visit, who had relentlessly collecting donations from friends and relatives. With unwavering and sheer determined pursues, a total of RM11598 was collected in less than 3 weeks from all kind donors.

With this meaningful charitable exercise, it is proven once again that we  1 MALAYSIA are generous lot who are willing to lend a helping hand in times of need.

We take this opportunity to thanks all donors for your kind contribution, be it monetary, time or effort, as you have given hope and made a difference to the spastic children.

On 22nd Jan 2010, we visited Handicapped and Disabled Children's Association of Klang Selangor.

We chosen Handicapped and Disabled Children's Association of Klang simply because we knew that this place is in need of our handouts. It was proven true right from the moment we hit the front gate... we saw  special children which have various disabilities, the environment look poor and crowded.  There were so many of them in a small corner village house.

This is not the first time we visiting disabled center, however, we had extremely sad feeling once we step into the center. Someone was screaming with horrible voice, some were crying at the corner, grumbling, people were scolding, singing and dancing ... the mixture of sounds make this small house unmerciful and not comfortable.

It was lucky that we meet another group of volunteer who were playing and dancing with them. Waka-waka song was playing at the corner of the corridor, and some of them started moving their body :) People were rolling on the floor,  clapping their hand while enjoying the show. They laugh sincerely from their deep hearth...
With this mixture happy/sad scenery , we had mixture feeling. We always feel these unlucky groups are pity, actually they are always living happily in their own world. They may not have the luxury to go to school, they do not have good career and holidays ... but, they enjoy their world without pressure.

We walked around the center to know them more, it's almost their lunch time. The volunteer team bought KFC for them, a simple meal brings happiness and satisfaction to them.

Some of them who are less fortunate of not able to wake up from the bed, the maid will feed them with the porridge. We tried to help to feed; It's not an easy job. They can only sleep on the mat.

Time to share cookies, cakes, oranges and packing water after lunch. They were all grabbing the food and orange happily. We were so please to see when see them enjoying the food that we brought along so much. We trained them ways to tear the skin and seed of orange.  Their  eating speeds are far more faster than our  :P ...

Last but not least, I really want to say thank you to everyone who supporting this event every year ... without your support, our event cannot be continue and running smoothly. THANK YOU ...

We have fun here ... yeah

Is this consider the group photo :D
Ops, we forgot to take group photo this year... no complete group, 粗粗地,用这张吧!

Special word from PS:

2025 Solar Panel Project

We are organizing a charity event to visit Guardian Angels Home , a place that shelters and cares for 18 children, from as young as 2 months to 15 years old. The centre is well-structured and organized, providing a safe and nurturing environment for the kids. However, one of the biggest challenges faced by the home is the electricity bill, which costs around RM2,500 – RM3,000 every month. This is a heavy financial burden for the centre. To provide a long-term solution, we plan to set up a solar panel system for the home. With solar energy, the centre can reduce its monthly expenses significantly and focus more on the children’s needs and future. Around 25 solar panels are required to fully support the house, approx MYR35000. At this moment, our main focus is to raise funds to sponsor the solar panels . We are aiming to raise RM50,000 and above . Every contribution, big or small, will make a huge difference for the children and the centre. 🙏 Your support will help brighten their...
